Playing poker well comes down to two things: making the right decisions and playing in the right conditions. The second has been our business since 2008: chips, cards, tables and mats. For the first, we have chosen a partner whose core business is poker training: Tuto Poker, a French-language Texas Hold'em learning platform that helps its students improve not by having them read lessons, but by having them make decisions. Here is an overview.

Tuto Poker in brief
Tuto Poker is an independent educational platform based in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, run and developed by Hugo Vigneron. The site organises no games, accepts no bets and is not affiliated with any gambling operator: you go there to learn poker, full stop. That is exactly the mindset we share: poker as a game of skill and a hobby, not as a wager.
- Over 100 lessons organised into learning paths, from the basic rules all the way to GTO
- Over 1,200 questions and decisions to make, each answer coming with an explanation
- 98 mini-games to anchor each concept
- 862 preflop ranges in the Ranger app
- Around 76 hours of guided training, or three months at 45 minutes a day
The method: decide rather than read
Most poker courses are video libraries. Tuto Poker has taken the opposite approach: every lesson follows the same four-step loop.
- Learn: one concept per lesson, explained in video and in writing, without unnecessary jargon.
- Decide: a real game situation appears, with cards, board and position in front of you. It is up to you to choose your action.
- Understand: right or wrong, the answer is explained. The mistake becomes the most useful part.
- Progress: 80% correct answers validate the lesson and unlock the next step of the path.
The site adds scheduled reviews (the next day, a week later, a month later) so that a concept you have understood is not forgotten within three days. To get a feel for it without creating an account, a full simulation of a hand strings together 23 decisions from preflop to the river.
A path in 9 stages
The programme is laid out on an interactive course map that shows what you have completed and what remains to be worked on.
| Stage | Content |
|---|---|
| 1. The fundamentals | Rules, hand rankings, starting hands, position, chips |
| 2. The maths | Equity, outs, pot odds, expected value, fold equity |
| 3. Exploitative play | Levels of thinking, hand reading, bankroll management |
| 4. Psychology and tells | Player profiles, physical tells, tilt, mental game |
| 5. The tracker | VPIP, PFR, 3-bet, c-bet, check-raise |
| 6. Tournaments | Antes, stack size, push or fold, ICM, getting through the bubble |
| 7. Preflop | Opens, defence, 3-bet, steal, squeeze |
| 8. The flop | C-bet, responding to the c-bet, range and nut advantage |
| 9. GTO | Solver concepts, drills on real spots |
Beginners will find the basics for their first games with friends; club and tournament players will find material to work on ICM, push or fold ranges or c-bet strategy.
Practical tools, several of them free
- Ranger: choose the format (tournament or cash game, 6 or 9 players), your stack depth from 5 to 100 big blinds and the situation: the exact range appears hand by hand.
- Equity calculator: hand versus hand or hand versus range, with an exact calculation rather than an approximate simulation. Free and without registration in its limited version.
- Range drills: a brush, a grid of 169 hands, and the instruction to redraw from memory the range you should play. The site corrects and grades you.
- Muscle ton jeu ("train your game"): training games by level (cash game opens, facing a 3-bet, raise sizing, playing against a solve).
- ICM and €EV / chipEV simulators: the real value of stacks at a final table (reserved for Gold members).

The home game tournament manager: the tool that goes with your chip case
This is the tool most directly connected to our equipment. Tuto Poker's home game tournament manager is free and settles the three questions every host of a game among friends asks:
- How many chips should each player get? You enter the number of players, the starting stack and the contents of your chip case (value and number of chips per colour): the calculator gives you the split per player and what is left in the bank.
- Which blind structure? The tool generates a structure suited to your tournament.
- Who keeps time? A full-screen clock manages the levels, breaks, the bubble and the payout distribution.
In practice, setup takes two minutes: you choose the number of players (from 2 to 30), a starting stack of 5,000 to 50,000 points, then describe your chip case (300, 500 or 1,000 chips, with the value of each colour). The tool hands out the small denominations first so that everyone has something to bet with from the very first levels. The clock stays accurate even if you switch tabs, picks up where it left off if the page reloads, and, with an account, your tournament is available on all your devices. Try the home game tournament manager.
The ideal companion to a good poker chip case: you enter the contents of your case, the tool does the maths, and the game starts with no arguments about starting stacks. Tuto Poker also publishes a guide to poker chip values and colours that answers the question "how many chips per player".

Why this partnership
Our customers are players, home game hosts, clubs and associations. Many ask us the same questions: how to structure a tournament, how many chips to plan for, how to improve. We equip the table; Tuto Poker trains the players who sit at it. Two complementary trades, the same passion for the game.
