Poker, blackjack, roulette or craps table: the right casino table is not the same for a living room, a club, an association or a fun casino operator. Number of players, folding or fixed legs, dealer position, plain or custom layout, budget: this guide covers the criteria that really matter before you buy.
Start with the game: one table per discipline
Poker table
The poker table is oval so that everyone can see each other and the cards circulate easily. Two main families: the table with a dealer position (a straight side where the dealer sits, often with a chip rack and a drop box) and the symmetrical table without dealer position, for games between friends where the button rotates. Expect 8 to 10 players on a 200 to 240 cm table. A neoprene jersey or microfibre layout, foam rails covered in faux leather and stainless steel cup holders make the difference evening after evening.

Blackjack table
Recognisable by its half-moon shape, the blackjack table seats 5 to 7 players facing the dealer. Well-designed models include a chip rack on the dealer's side, cup holders and a layout with the rules printed on it. It is the most requested table at fun casino events after roulette: quick to explain, everyone plays against the house.

Roulette table
The roulette table is rectangular: the wheel at one end, the betting layout over the rest of the top. Note that the wheel is not always supplied with the table: check the product sheet. The compact folding-leg format is enough for a private evening; fun casino operators prefer a long table with a 50 cm or larger wheel for visual impact.

Craps table
The most spectacular and the bulkiest: long, with high rails so the dice stay on the table, and the full betting layout. Reserved for venues and operators with the space and the audience.
And the others: sic bo, baccarat, boule
For these games, a versatile folding-leg gaming table with the dedicated mat does the job very well, and costs far less than a specific table. See our casino mat guide to choose the right layout.
Folding legs or fixed table?
This is the number one criterion if the table does not stay in place.
- Folding legs: the table stores flat against a wall, loads into a van, sets up in two minutes. Essential for associations, clubs renting a hall, fun casino hosts and anyone without a dedicated room. Steel legs with safety locks last for years if lubricated once a year.
- Fixed table: heavier, more stable, better looking, with wood finishes and padded rails. The choice for a home game room or a club with its own premises.
- The compromise: the poker table top, an oval or round top with layout and foam rails, to place on a dining table. Zero footprint, lower price.

How many players?
| Table | Players | Typical dimensions |
|---|---|---|
| Oval poker | 8 to 10 (+ dealer) | 200 to 240 x 100 to 120 cm |
| Round poker | 6 to 8 | 120 to 150 cm diameter |
| Half-moon blackjack | 5 to 7 | 180 to 220 cm wide |
| Roulette | 6 to 8 | 180 to 250 cm long |
| Craps | 8 to 12 | 300 cm and more |
Allow at least 80 cm of clearance around the table for chairs and the dealer's movements.
The layout: plain, printed or custom
The layout is the wear part of the table, and the part everyone sees. Three options:
- Plain layout in felt or microfibre: understated, economical, replaceable.
- Printed layout in neoprene jersey: race track for poker, betting areas for blackjack. Non-slip, wipes clean with a sponge.
- Custom layout: your logo, your colours, the club name. This is what fun casino operators and companies choose.
Our custom Casino poker table is designed for exactly that: 10 players and a dealer, 238 x 122 cm top, folding legs, jersey layout with your artwork, graphic design included in the price. A true tournament table that folds away.

The accessories that change the game
- Chip rack and drop box on the dealer's side, for a table with a dealer.
- Stainless steel cup holders: they prevent spilled glasses on the layout.
- Protective cover for transport and storage.
- Chairs at the right height: poker is played seated at 75 cm, blackjack often standing or on a high stool.
Looking after your casino table
- Vacuum the layout on low power, dab stains without rubbing, never use solvents.
- Check the folding-leg locks before each set-up, lubricate the hinges once a year.
- Clean faux-leather rails with a damp cloth.
- Store the table flat, in a dry place, cover closed.
Frequently asked questions
Which casino table for an evening with friends?
An oval folding-leg poker table for 8 to 10 players, or a table top to place on the living-room table. To vary the games, add a blackjack or roulette mat on top.
Which table for a fun casino event?
The three tables that work everywhere: roulette, blackjack and poker. Choose folding-leg models with chip racks, and neoprene jersey layouts, which stand up better to transport and repeated evenings.
Is the wheel supplied with the roulette table?
Not always. Check the product sheet: some tables are sold bare, and the wheel is chosen separately according to its diameter.
Can the layout of a poker table be customised?
Yes. The custom Casino table comes with a layout printed with your logo, artwork included. Other tables can receive a custom layout made to the size of the top.
